What to Expect on Your Fall Farm Tour
Your two-hour visit is designed to be relaxed, informative, and full of the sights, sounds, and smells of autumn in the orchard. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our farm team and directed to the designated parking area. From there, a short walk brings you to the picnic site and the starting point of the tour. The group will move together through several stations, each offering a different look at how we grow and harvest apples. You will see the orchard rows up close, learn how we manage the trees throughout the year, and hear about the varieties that thrive in our climate.
The apple cider pressing demonstration is a highlight for many visitors. You will watch as fresh apples are washed, ground, and pressed into juice right before your eyes. The process is simple but fascinating, and you will leave with a new appreciation for the cider you find at local markets. The introduction to apple farming covers the basics of orchard care, from pruning and thinning to pest management and harvest timing. Our guides are happy to answer questions, so feel free to ask about anything from grafting techniques to the best apples for baking.
Please note that the tour is held outdoors and involves walking on uneven ground, including grass and gravel paths. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. The tour runs rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. In the event of severe conditions, we will contact you using the email address provided at checkout.

Planning Your Visit
To make the most of your time with us, plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your reservation time. Check-in takes place at the farm entrance, where you will need to show your order confirmation number. This number is all that is required—no paper tickets are issued. Once checked in, you will be directed to the tour meeting area. The tour begins promptly at the scheduled time, and late arrivals may not be able to join the group.
Parking is included with your reservation and is available on-site. The picnic site is open for your use before or after the tour, so you are welcome to bring a blanket and enjoy a snack or packed lunch. We ask that you carry out everything you bring in and leave the picnic area as you found it. Trash and recycling bins are provided near the parking area.
If you are interested in apple picking, it is not included in the tour fee but can be purchased separately on the day of your visit. Half peck bags are available for $20 and can be paid for with cash or credit card at the orchard. Availability of picking depends on the season and weather, so we recommend asking about current conditions when you check in.
Who Should Attend
This tour is suitable for all ages, from curious kids to lifelong gardeners. Children aged 3 and under are free when accompanying a paying adult, making it an affordable outing for families. The content is presented in a way that is engaging for younger visitors, with plenty of hands-on moments and visual demonstrations. Older children and adults will appreciate the depth of information shared by our experienced guides.

Because the tour involves walking and standing for up to two hours, it may not be ideal for those with limited mobility. The terrain is mostly flat but includes some uneven sections and grassy areas. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before booking so we can discuss options. Service animals are welcome; pets are not permitted in the orchard or picnic area.
