What to Expect on the Tour
The Fall Farm Tour is a guided, two-hour experience designed for families, couples, and anyone curious about where their food comes from. You will move through several stations on the farm, each led by a member of our team who has spent years working with apples and the land. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of time for questions, photographs, and simply enjoying the orchard in its autumn colors.
Your visit begins with a short introduction to apple farming. We cover the basics of how our orchard is laid out, the varieties we grow, and the seasonal rhythm of pruning, thinning, and harvest. You do not need any prior knowledge — this is a welcoming overview for all ages. Children are encouraged to ask questions, and our guides are skilled at keeping young visitors engaged.
After the introduction, you will see a traditional apple cider pressing demonstration. We use a hand-cranked press and explain each step from washing and grinding the apples to collecting the fresh juice. The demonstration is interactive: volunteers from the group are often invited to help turn the press. The cider made during the tour is for demonstration purposes and is not available for sale, but you will leave with a clear understanding of how small-batch cider is made.

Planning Your Visit
Because the tour runs from 1 pm to 3 pm, we recommend arriving early enough to park, check in, and use the restroom before the group departs. Check-in takes place at the farm stand, where you will show your order confirmation. The tour leaves promptly at the scheduled start time, and late arrivals may not be able to join the group.
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. The tour follows gravel paths and mowed grass lanes, and some sections may be uneven. In late September, the weather can be warm or cool, so dressing in layers is wise. A hat and sunscreen are recommended on sunny days, and a light rain jacket is useful if showers are forecast. The tour runs rain or shine, with the exception of severe weather that would make walking unsafe.
Strollers are welcome, but please be aware that some paths are narrow and the cider pressing area is on a slight slope. If you have mobility concerns, contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Service animals are permitted; pets are not allowed on the tour for the safety of our farm animals and other guests.
The Picnic Site and Parking
Your tour fee includes access to our picnic site, which is available before or after your scheduled tour time. The picnic area is a grassy clearing with a few wooden tables and a view of the orchard. You are welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Please carry out all trash, as we do not have public trash bins in the orchard.

Parking is free and located in the gravel lot near the farm stand. Signs will direct you to the tour check-in area. If the main lot is full, overflow parking is available in the field adjacent to the entrance. Do not park along the driveway or in areas marked for farm vehicles.
Restrooms are available at the farm stand during open hours. There are no restrooms along the tour route, so plan accordingly. Hand washing stations are set up near the cider pressing area for use after the demonstration.
Apple Picking and On-Site Purchases
Apple picking is not included in the tour fee, but you are welcome to pick apples before or after your tour. U-pick bags are sold at the farm stand for $20 per half peck, payable by cash or credit card. A half peck bag holds roughly 5-6 pounds of apples, depending on variety. You may purchase multiple bags if you wish.
The varieties available for picking change throughout the season. In late September, you can typically expect late-season apples such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, and Braeburn, though availability depends on weather and crop conditions. Our staff will point you to the rows that are open for picking on the day of your visit. Please pick only from designated rows and handle the fruit gently to avoid bruising.

In addition to apples, the farm stand offers fresh cider, honey, jams, and seasonal baked goods. These items are available for purchase separately and are not included in the tour fee. If you plan to pick apples, we suggest bringing your own bags or boxes for transport, though we do have bags available for purchase.
Tour Policies and Reservation Details
All sales are final, and we are unable to offer refunds or transfers to another date or time. If you are unable to attend, you may give your reservation to a friend or family member; they will need to show the order confirmation at check-in. The name on the order does not need to match the person attending.
Each person aged 4 and older must have a paid reservation. Children aged 3 and under are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please include all attendees, including free children, in your group size when you arrive so we can keep an accurate headcount for safety.
Proof of purchase is required at check-in. You can show the order confirmation email on your phone or bring a printed copy. The order number is all we need; no paper tickets are mailed. Double-check your email address before completing the purchase to ensure you receive the confirmation.
